Jesmond has an eclectic mix of established families, first time buyers, young professionals and students. There are several small shopping areas with busy Tesco’s & Waitrose supermarkets, gyms, tennis courts, a swimming pool and library. It is probably most famous for the social scene and with up to 20 bars and restaurants throughout the area, there is somewhere to suit everyone’s taste and pocket. There are 3 Metro stops and a good bus service enabling easy access to the surrounding areas. Jesmond is the favourite area of Newcastle university and Northumbria students as it is so close to the campus. We have a range of 6 to eight bedroom student houses in Jesmond.
Sandyford is the closest suburb to Newcastle city centre and is extremely popular with both student and professional tenants as there is no need to use public transport. It has its own shopping area and is establishing itself as a good place to go and eat out. Due to its location it is easy to socialise in either the city centre, Jesmond, or the new venues of Holy Hobo & As You Like It. For public transport there is the Coast Road bus route and Jesmond Metro station. Sandyford is right next to the Northumbria university campus and is very popular with third year students
Heaton has something to offer everyone; the busy shopping area of Chillingham Road, traditional real ale pubs, and the open space of the lovely Heaton Park. Traditionally very popular with students and young professionals, public transport links are excellent and a large proportion of our properties are within walking distance from the City Centre and Universities. Many new restaurants and cafe’s and bars are opening in this area, making it one of Newcastle’s trendiest addresses.
